Digital Simplex List and
Information |
The purpose of this list is
NOT to reserve
exclusively these frequencies for DMR or any digital use
but only to provide some common frequencies to more
practically enable use of simplex on the fly anywhere in
the USA as front panel programming is not available and
talk-around (direct on a repeater pair) is unworkable.
See current table for
UHF/VHF. |
The discussion has
wound down and as of 6-12-2013. The
repeater list
and talkgroup page
have been updated and has the simplex channels listed at
the bottom of the
page. If you have any last minute issues with
the simplex listing, then make it known in the Yahoo
Groups. The simplex listing has been renamed
National Digital Simplex so to include all 12.5Khz (or
narrower) digital modes rather than limiting it to only
DMR. The
rest of this page is legacy and now stale... |
|
This page is
only a mock-up to aid in the discussion in
support of creating a wide-spread list of DMR Simplex
channels for use in the USA. More work will follow
for VHF and worldwide for DMR and possibly the other
digital modes. This page will change frequently as
the discussion narrows the concerns of the digital
(and analog) community. The main focus currently is for
digital UHF
in the USA. |
While this list is
primarily developed for DMR simplex, all digital modes
using 12.5 Khz wide channels or less, are welcome to
use the frequencies as well as participate in our
discussion to develope this list of frequencies.
Anyone is welcome to submit any area
exceptions that they would rather us not use. This
is a community effort that is striving to garner the
best use of limited channel space in the 440-450 band. |
